Headshots are so much easier to make and the game feels buttery smooth. Its great for stuff like overcooked and gang beasts, but there is definitely a lack of quality FPS splitscreen games on pc. But two questions: does it work with all the games in the mcc? I tried messaging one of the mods but they never got back to me. Modding Halo MCC from Windows Store A lot of people are wondering why there are two different launch options for this game. Somewhere on the way of updates, this data was not updated properly, wich is weird because I verified my installation 2 times, one before installing the DLCs the oder one after.So in one sentence: The upper .exe starts the game normally and everything seems fine besides that bug where every gamepad controlls every instance of the game, the other .exe is the one meant to be. -First, you need to have as many Xbox Live accounts as the amount of players you'll play with, you also need to have them all friended to the user that's going to host the matches.-Next download latest NucleusCoop Alpha 8 Mod and extract it.-Open NucleusCoop, search and download this game script in the Download Game Scripts option.-Open NucleusCoop again, auto search for the game or manually select the game exe using the search game button, select it, run it with the number of players you want.-For this game to work, you need to open Nucleus COOP as Admin and have Nucleus COOP installed in the same Drive as Halo MCC is.-You need internet connection cause the instances connect via the xbox live servers. Seems ridiculous that 343 can’t implement split screen when amateurs are doing it in their off time.That’s because 343 isn’t porting the games. Multiple mouse/keyboard support doesn't work well at the best of times. I've got both now on PC and one of the main features of Halo has been splitscreen, please give this feature a deserving return! Till then we shall just take turns on campaign!Have they explicitly stated yet that split screen is on the agenda? New content has appeared in MCC Halo 2 Classic's .shared map when the Halo 3 Release Update dropped. The PC version of Halo Reach has no splitscreen whatsoever. ! Please add this, Microsoft. I've tried the tips but nothing has seemed to help! There is a method atm involving nucleuscoop that I believe requires two Xbox Live accounts to work, and may be releasing soon.
And how is performance? PC games especially of console ports aren't particularly well known for including the couch co-op split screen stuff the console games had, like Call of Duty etc not including it. Splitscreen is part of the long term roadmap, but it probably won't be coming until after the release the whole collection / Halo 4. So I looked into differences between the games. Then a window appears in the top left and sits there for about 3 minutes doing nothing until it crashes. There isn't even cross-play support, though that makes sense.
