Zarkon has noticed that Keith's natural fighting style resembles that of the Galran's own during their first duel. Keith has shown himself to be quickly able to adapt his fighting style to whatever weapon he has on hand, such as his luxite sword. He was the Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron. Keith is a Paladin of Voltron, originally piloting the Red Lion before becoming the Paladin of the Black Lion following Shiro's disappearance.
Keith has the appearance a lean older teenager with pale skin, black hair, fairly thick eyebrows, and blue-gray eyes that seem purple in certain lighting. His black gloves are fingerless and expose part of his hand before strapping together over the wrist.
Keith is the current Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron, and the former Paladin of the Red Lion as well. Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane, known to other slaves in the Galra arena as Champion, a skilled pilot of legendary reputation and the leader of the five Paladins of Voltron. Keith's Galra heritage allows him to tap into and utilize Galra technology that is specifically encoded to their species, allowing him to infiltrate their bases.
A man of few words, Keith is the Red Paladin and the swordsmen of Team Voltron. Keith is quick-witted, making many deadpan remarks and observations at other's expense, particularly Keith is in possession of a blade bearing the symbol of the Keith does have some issues with trust. His ability to access genetically-encoded Galra tech is what revealed him as having Galran heritage.
Keith's latent leadership abilities came to surface along his journey, though he is less decisive and more aggressive as a leader than Shiro, though he is quickly calming down into a leader of great skill, as noted by the Black Lion who only allows born leaders to partner with it.
Having finally discovered the reason why his mother left him was for his protection, Keith finally made peace with his past on Earth.
Unlike the others, Keith had to earn his Lion's respect by fighting to protect it at all costs, thus impressing Red. Keith is a character from the Netflix TV series Voltron: Legendary Defender. He is dedicated to maintaining his abilities and spends his free time on the ship honing his combat skills. He is a competitive and pragmatic person who favors following his instincts above all else and will take initiative regardless of the danger and challenge, which can lead to impressive accomplishments.
He is capable of handling the Red Lion not because of their shared ferocious and rebellious natures, but because of his instincts and respect for Shiro as a leader. Over the course of the series, however, Keith was the paladin who spent the most (literal) time in space, making him age differently than his teammates. Keith's mixed heritage seems to have had an affect on him.
Due to his mother leaving him as an infant and his father's death when he was still a small child, Keith had some serious barriers that he kept up around his friends and teammates, which initially impeded his abilities as a leader during the first few missions as the head of Voltron. He has uneven-cut bangs that tend to sweep to the left of his face, length averaging just under his eyes, but framing his face slightly longer and curled at his cheekbones. Keith often felt the need to prove himself to his commanding officer and mentor, Kolivan, while simultaneously disregarding orders to put the mission first.
He is a high speed combat specialist who fights at his maximum at all times.
This trait is best witnessed during his battle with Despite his tendency to jump into battle, Keith can be quite calm and cautious at times. This can be seen when he was able to see directly through Black's perspective, bringing out the Ephemeral Wings to fly from several galaxies away within moments to rejoin the other Paladins.
He was an orphan who spent the majority of his days living in a small house in the middle of a desert, often searching the nearby mountain range for the truth about the Blue Lion. The blade is inscribed with a glowing emblem of the While Keith normally appears to be completely human, he has been shown to display Galran traits such as yellow sclerae, feline pupils, and sharpened teeth during moments of extreme stress and emotion.Normally reserved, quiet, and calm, Keith is quick to give sarcastic quips and blunt commentary.
