Only two episodes in. i have to rate it this low, even tho really want to love the story, but this is just so cringy-terribad, i just can't give it any more stars.

On the way they'll face many weird things. The coming-of-age drama series is loosely based on the novel titled 'The Wave' written by Todd Strasser under the pen name Morton Rhue. the topics may be relevant and potentially profound, the storyline still remains a big and meaningless disappointment.

- Plus+ It's so cleve to use "wave"-welle, while the movie "Welle"(2008) is a experiment of brainwash dictatorship in High School, the we in "We are the Wave"-Wir sind die Welle, are the young social activists against dictatorship and thank you for your respect as well.

Wer 2008 noch die Schule besuchte, wird spätestens im Deutsch- oder Geschichtsunterricht früher oder später Bekanntschaft mit dem Film "Die Welle…

This might be one of the worst series ever. Irgendwie muss der Rechtsruck ja wohl auch noch durch die Medien angefeuert werden.

Das hatte uns in einer Zeit in der Nazis wieder ganz real morden ganz sicher noch gefehlt.

Dynamic Characters, smooth but stunning story progression.
