We had already seen this film during a course in German and bought it to follow up on the language - so it met our expectations. Set in the city of Brunswick, German Empire, in 1874, a German drama “Der ganz große Traum” follows the story of a real-life teacher Konrad Koch (Daniel Brühl), who introduced football (or soccer, depending where you are living) into Germany.
